City Pub Group wanted to bring awareness to the fact that more needs to be done by government to support the industry. If not then more closures of independent pubs and chains will likely occur.

A recent survey suggested the public believe more should be done to help those leaving the armed forces to find a job; unemployment for ex-service people sits at 11%, in comparison to the national average of 4.8%, meaning that of
the 15,000 who will leave the force this year, 1650 will be without subsequent work. |
